It's amazing alright...how much air it traps and holds in a short period. Looks almost like the emulsion from a BHG.

It's also amazing how a snake oil becomes "highly recommended"...no offense, but parts guys are right behind mechanics in...
Three should be enough. All you are doing is minimizing the coefficient of friction between the nut/stud threads to get an accurate torque. Why ARP doesn't provide the detail on the sheet? :dunno:
Look at the pic I posted...the hose goes from the fitting on the rad cap neck directly to the fitting on overflow bottle cap.
Don't make it harder than it is ;)
The point is the ground to the metal plate holding the coil packs is a field ground. It will not have any bearing on the coil packs firing. Checking this is spinning your wheels.
Have you checked for tranny codes?
It's called the tranny throttle cable or kick down cable. It's sole purpose is to control line pressure. That can cause a harsh shift, but should not cause down shift problems. Sounds like a solenoid to me.
For the sake of your tranny, DO NOT put Lucas in it.
I would start by cleaning the tranny filter (it's in the pan) and then do a flush. Read post #8:

You may have to adjust the throttle (kick down) cable as well...it's all in the TRSM.
Got in a bit late on this one ;)
Pressure will incease flow, but only to the point the oil piping/channels/bearing clearances will support it. After that, pressure shoots up with little additional flow.
IJ - I agree...the 7M oil system is stout. The only real improvement is getting rid...
Could be a couple of things...most likely the ISC valve. Test it per the TRSM. Wouldn't hurt to take it apart and clean the carbon off the valve plunger and seat. Take a look at the check valve right under it as well too.
Take a look at this...
You GTBSM...dropping the tranny pan is a piece of cake compared to a 5 speed swap. You need new brake/clutch petals, clutch reservoir, hyd line, new drive shaft...that's just off the top of my head.
TKA - you need to get that Lucas crap out of your tranny...clean the filter and flush. Look...
After draining (rad & block)...the easiest/fastest way I've found to completely flush the cooling system is to remove the thermostat, reattach the housing/hose, fill with water and run. With no thermostat, the water will go straight to the radiator. Drain rad and block again...repeat till you...
