Nah, you didn't ;)
JJ was agreeing with you...running a colder stat is not a good idea for 90% of the climates in the US. Some of the other "advice" (fans, pulleys) raw was handing out is not a great idea either.
A quart over full (top line on the dipstick) is nowhere NEAR the crank. The 7M pan has a good deal excess capacity before the oil level is high enough for the crank to become a factor.
Jeez man, frigging pressure test the coolant system like you've been told (twice) to do. Speculation is meaningless...make sure it holds pressure!
One thing that will draw air into the system is a bad hose from the radiator to the coolant bottle, as well as the one inside the bottle.
You know Raw, maybe you should go back to a '70s SBC. The coil pack ground to the head has nothing to do with them not firing.

#1 - The CSI functions ONLY during cranking. The time switch limits it's operation DURING CRANKING to prevent flooding. Once the starter is disengaged, current to the CSI is terminated.
#2 - After start enrichment takes over for a set period of time after starter operation ceases. The...
Be very careful boosting in this situation. I'll bet the AFC was "tuned" with the previous learned values in the TCCS...now that it's tuned with the base factory values, it's possible to go lean. It might not go back to where it was due to the difference in signal the TCCS is learning from...
A case in point for the interaction between a piggyback (including the VPC) and the learned values in the TCCS:

What you posted is the cheapest, easiest insurance against RK on any Supra engine...oil starvation can score a bearing in a heartbeat, with RK next.
Proper bearing clearance is a must...excessive clearance (above spec) will induce RK as well. A spun bearing is different than excessive...
In terms of using it on a new MHG, I wouldn't...looking at the MSDS for the Hylomar products, they contain acetone and dichloromethane. Both are solvents, with acetone being a ketone that attacks viton...dichloromethane is basically paint stripper.
For use on a bare metal or composite HG, I...
You know Billy, your approach is neither well written nor accurate. You have a choice:
- Read what I have to say, based on this:
- Or, continue to rationalize what you have done based on speculation.
I do "have a solid grasp on the air metering and the fueling requirements of EGR...
