The ability of the human mind to rationalize is incredible sometimes.
Unless you call $3.75 a gallon gas prices "not that valuable".
Say what! You've been out the pastures picking mushrooms again haven't you. :3d_frown:
If you have a code 52 popping up, the car will run like crap for the reasons stated earlier. In most cases, it's the wiring to the ECU that's at fault.
I'd still like to see pics of all 6 pistons ;)
Pics of your plug tips would help too.
The reason I asked about the plugs (I guessed right BTW) is iridium's can glow plug after a sustained run. Minor detonation can make it worse (heats up the tips). If they do glow plug, pre-ignition can...
On a Tial, it's exactly as the diagram shows...both lines, with the top connected to the boost controller (manual valve or solenoid EBC valve). With no boost controller, you leave the top vented to the atmosphere...that will give you the WG spring rated boost psi.
90T04 was pretty clear in...
It will get worse and ANY vibration is not good for the entire drive train.
For those that are interested, the 1 vs 2 piece DS was recently discussed in this thread...start on page 4:

I should have been more clear, a code 52 will not illuminate the CEL...among others.
You should pull the diagnostic codes again to see if any codes are stored. After noting the codes, pull the EFI fuse for a minute or so to reset. Drive it for a day and check your codes again for any...
Raw - Yes that's possible, but I don't think so...I've checked my speedo against GPS and it's within a couple MPH.
I sent an e-mail to my bud, just waiting on a response.
On a track car, there is little chance of the EGR having much impact. It's the transition from cruise to boost under...
You know, that jab is uncalled for. I make no pretense to be "flawless", but I do know how to answer a couple simple questions. Especially when I'm looking for help...how can you possibly expect an accurate answer when you refuse to provide accurate info?
This thread is a perfect example...
A 10.3 AFR at WOT is a bit rich, but that's better than lean ;)
A 15.0 is a touch lean cruise AFR, but very acceptable...should help on fuel economy.
If you think you have a vac leak, block off the ISCV and PCV hoses with the car running. Assuming the TB plate is full closed, if the...
Ok...last time...filled with "correct amount of oil". How many quarts and where did it show on the dipstick?
Again...
How many quarts did you have to add to get the oil back to the full mark when it ran low?
I don't pull teeth for very long.
So explain to me how you flushed the engine?
How many quarts did you put in the motor after this "flush"?
When you say "low on oil", where on the dipstick did it show (if at all)?
And, how many quarts did you add to get it back to the full mark?
Just to make sure I have this insanity straight:
- You flushed the engine with (I assume) engine flush off the shelf at the parts store (you somehow thought this was a good idea?)
- The motor ran low on oil (for whatever reason)
- You've mixed Toyota Red with conventional green coolant...
