Swap over the MR2 exhaust housing, and re-clock the compressor housing. It's not tha hard :)

Take the dash out, and you can see it's painfully easy to block off the two vents. Just glue (or tape) a small piece of plastic over the vent opening behind the dash.

Well, I have a MKIV wheel with 285 on it, that's a 50mm offset, and it's VERY close to rubbing. There's less then a finger's width in there. If you had a +35 offset, It's almost certainly going to rub.
