Your 1JZ has an electric speed sensor on the tranny? Mine just has a cable driven speedo, with an electric sensor off the speedo to the ECU.

Long drives FTW! I live about 30 minutes away from the mountains, so I cruise out there in the middle of the night when there's no traffic, drive the mountain passes, pull over, lay on the hood of my car, and stare at the stars. Alternatively, I also live right on a resivoir (lake), so...

I got them off using a wrench, and reaching in behind the top of the motor. It was a PITA, so the next time I just pulled the motor :)

Ah, breaking it off is the easy part. You just put a socket on it, rest the handle on the ground, and crank the motor a few times.
