It will chatter then there's no way around that other than more rpm/slip Kenny.
(Marcel's only reason to exist is to cushion the initial engagement to stop chatter but they're a fail point for high HP so are often deleted)
If it were me I'd go 2J with a small tight roller turbo just for the setNforget nature in a Mk3, it'd go all day long and never miss a beat.
Mk2 or earlier maybe a 1J with stock twins and let it breathe.
AutoX isn't a nice place for a 7M to live due to the fragility of the cooling and Oil...

Like I said I really miss that car, tried to buy another here a few years back with the idea of putting my 500+rwhp 7M into it but they're all either dogs or so over priced I couldn't justify it!

Probably be fine if you were running it to 5psi but most people upgrade a Turbo with a much higher HP expectation and then wonder why the cheap ones fail and take out their engine, performance costs plain and simple you can't cut corners if you want it to be reliable.
