    Exhaust is no where near the Driver footwell in a LHD car so doubt it's that... (can't drive a RHD car in bare feet due to the dead pedal burning your foot)

    .5mm aka +20 thou, it will raise the compression a tiny amount but nothing to worry about, the blue on the crank is from the induction hardening that Toyota did when they made it.

    WB issue sounds like a fouled sensor, they usually read stoich under these conditions, you can try burning the carbon and deposits off with an Oxy Torch being careful NOT to melt the end of the sensor that can bring them back, or you can swap out the sensor they don't last forever. Also why...
