ROFLMAO!!! hahahahaa, no no no, i actually was fixing part of my dash that was ripped apart due to a thief breaking in before i got the car. the dash was snapped in half on the plastic area under the stereo, so the passenger side popped out from the tranny tunnel. i drilled two holes, one on...

You know you're a Supra owner when...

you sit in it and pretend to drive it, slamming through gears, while it's on jackstands in your driveway, because it still doesnt run after ridiculous amounts of money you've dumped into it. -shaeff

    Fidanza positives and negatives.

my fidanza aluminum FW has a replacable friction surface, so the ability to have it turned is not an issue... i've got a CM stage III, along with the fidanza al. FW, and i get no chatter. then again, i do have a full clutch disk, carbon/kevlar. it's very friendly. -shaeff

    dont you hate it when......

go running full speed and drop it gently on the ground, that way you're already 15 feet away before it can turn around and even try. haha. the only reason i know this is because a skunk made it's way into the movie theater i used to work at. we called a pest controll unit, and thats exactly what...

    valve cover gaskets....again.

ImUrTurboLover, are you sure that it's not your cam seals leaking? i popped a cam seal upon initial startup, and it pissed so much oil out it was unbelievable, and that was only in about 35 seconds. you might want to check those too. as for over engineering by using lots of RTV on the valve...

Anyone had to fix the studs on a taillight?

Ideal, have you tried Gorilla Glue? that stuff is amazing. i think it would work better than JB in a situation like this. i've used it on quite a few projects and have been quite satisfied with the results. just make sure you read the directions. :) -shaeff

Would these wheels fit on our cars?

i assume you're talking about malloynx's car... :) yeah, they look damn good. you might need to roll the fenders in the back to fit 315's. ask MDCmotorsports. he's got some fatties out back. as far as i've heard, those rims should fit. -shaeff

Coilovers vs. Aftermarket Springs & Shocks

i *think* the tein SS coilovers give a nice ride, as well as better handling than most aftermarket springs. take a look at these posts in our review section, all about different suspensions: http://www.supramania.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=45 -shaeff

time to mod my car, need your input

hks ssqv or tial, from what i've read. and i primed my turbo by pulling the EFI fuse and cranking it over until i saw the oil pressure gauge start to bounce a bit. then i cranked it some more because i'm terrified of killing my turbo. -shaeff

    Arp heads studs

just take out your headbolts one at a time, put a washer in it's place, then drop a stud down and tighten it by hand, then thread on the nut for it. make sure you have a 12 point deepwell, shallow walled socket for it, otherwise you wont be able to tighten down the nut for the stud. just do it...
