you are correct, sir. i can drop the tank and replace my pump in like 15 minutes now. haha. no sir. not the problem my chassis is an 86.5, so the resistences match. even so, that wouldnt cause fuel pressure to drop. my motor is an '89, my chassis is an 86.5. here's some info on 550's...

well, it's been raining like crazy here, nonstop, so i havent gotten a chance to do ANYTHING. but here's some good news: my new fuel lines and ANOTHER new filter came in the mail today. :) this weekend maybe. -shaeff

koni and KYB are two different brands. and of the two, the konis are much more stiff, and adjustable. (though you have to adjust them before you put them on the car...) as far as i know, KYB doesnt make an adjustable shock for the MKIII. -shaeff

i put all new hoses except the two thick radiator hoses on my motor. (those are coming soon though) all from toyota. it's really not that expensive for the large piece of mind it gives you. give Champion a call. -shaeff

they say you can run pretty much any glycol based coolant, these days, but i always use the toyota red coolant. when i put my motor back together, i put in non-synthetic 10w30, and i'll run that around for a bit, clean out the system using it, (also have straight water in the cooling system to...

NICE! here's an idea of what i have planned for this winter. i'm picking up a spare gauge cluster, and cutting the shit out of it, and mounting custom gauges in it (most likely UNDER) the existing plastic. i'll probably end up going with autometer gauges, or greddy gauges. havent decided yet...

what exactly are you asking here? i'm kindof confused. :) you cannot install head studs or headbolts withouth the washers, if that's what you're thinking. you need them. SupraNbama replaced his stockers with ARP's, (or new OEM ones), and used the OLD washers to shim his wastegate. -shaeff

heh, i do my own work. i have never taken it to a shop for anything aside from inspections, allignments, and putting tires on rims. that being said, if i know someone is supra savvy, i'll allow that person to help me work on my car, but ONLY if i'm there. (not to supervise, but to learn more...

i used new toyota gaskets, and coated each side with a layer of RTV. :) no leaks as of yet. (even in this ridiculous rain!!! i havent been able to work on my car:() -shaeff

agreed, after 15psi, the turbo isnt working efficiently. (it's essentially blowing hot air...) -shaeff
