    Motor struggles to rev-up?

nah, i can unplug my battery overnight, or for 30 seconds, it makes no difference. after the car warms up to operating temp, the idle should be rock solid at 650rpm. -shaeff

    Motor struggles to rev-up?

if you're still idling at 1k rpm, there's still something wrong. you should idle at like 650rpm. the ISC is only functional at idle, which would explain why it doesnt affect the car when you blip the throttle. do you have any way to check your fuel pressure? have you checked your codes? use the...

i'm turbo swapped, and since my car was origionally an N/A sport package, i'm still on the w58/4.3 combo. i love it. it accelerates like crazy. and when am i going to be doing 140+mph? probably never. :) if some crazy dude wants to "Beat" me in a race over that speed, let him/her do it. i dont...

To build a reliable 400hp 7m supra, I need a detailed what would you do.

and then get rodknock because you're running so rich that gasoline is seeping past the piston rings, and thinning out your oil (read: super low viscosity), hence decreasing it's lubricative properties, thus causing excessive bearing wear. :( -shaeff p.s. yes, lubricative is a word...

    SPUTTER...tapping...and now DEAD...

hmm, that's a bit odd. try using a cut wooden broomstick, and hold it to your ear, and press the other end to the motor. move it around, until you pinpoint the sound. just be careful not to damage your hearing. (i dont put it directly in my ear, but on that little piece that sticks out, and it...

    MHG torque

yeah, i'd back that shizzle off to about 90ft lbs, 100 TOPS. (several guys here run 100ft lbs, even though i personally wouldnt go past 90) yeah, i actually used a dremel to cut the bevel off the rivet, then it just fell out. :) -shaeff

    MHG torque

FIRST, did you drill out the rivet? if not, i'd strongly suggest doing so before you go any further... secondly, i did mine up to 90ft lbs. i went from 35, 55, 70, then 90ft lbs. the entire process took me like 20 minutes. i didnt wait at all. did you use headstuds or headbolts? studs dont...
