    Hey new here!

damn, son! welcome to SM. good luck in your search for a clean mk3. personally, i wasnt even looking for a clean one. i just wanted one. mine's all rusty, but i've slowly aquired all the parts i've needed to bring it back to life this winter. (so long as my plans go accordingly...) you'll get...

    Quick help/question please

yeah, that's what it seems like. i cant understand how air would leak out of there. that's just weird! any air lost is going to affect your motor, though, a small amount of air wouldnt affect it as much as a large amount. it'll probably end up making you run a little rich. i'm sure you can...

    Quick help/question please

the only thing i can think of, off the top of my head (cant get the pics to load on my slow ass dialup :() is that you could possibly try to seal it up from the INSIDE. (not sure exactly what you'd use, but just make sure it cant break off and get sucked into the motor!) for shits and...

    Head bolts out buuut

be very, very careful when using any type of lever on the head. you dont want to mar the surface of the head or block, thus causing more problems for yourself down the road. that being said, i also used a large flatblade screwdriver, but only to crack it loose, then i pulled it off by hand...

    sleeper eyes

i personally think it looks like a broken honda... when you set them to the desired height, just turn the headlight switch ONE click on. (the dot on the combo switch) when you turn your car off, they'll stay like that. you'll have to re-set them every time you turn your lights on and off...

    So how is 935?

put it this way: more people are prone to posting COMPLAINTS rather than posting GOOD reviews. i've had good luck with 935. when people get their parts, they tend NOT to post something nice, but when something comes late, they'll cry wolf immediately. ;) -shaeff

    engine "lugging"?

either that, or when you shift at too low of an rpm, the motor struggles to keep the vehicle moving. try shifting from second right to fifth gear. see if it does the same thing. chances are, it will. just dont shift so low in the rpm range. ;) -shaeff

    broken power steering valve...

ditto. i removed mine, too. though, i was already used to constantly reving the motor (though you dont have to, it just makes it easier to steer) because my old daily driver, a '71 chevy c-10 liked to not run, ever, when it came to parkinglots! haha. -shaeff

    Heater and AC not working

haha, never! did you open the heater valve so that coolant can flow into the heatercore? there's a plunger on the underside of the heatervalve, located on the firewall near the charcoal canister. push it up, and zip tie it there. see if you get heat then. not sure about your AC. i removed my...
