    the battery isnt used, so to speak, when the car is running. the car runs off the alternator. if the battery starts your car, and it's running, then it shouldnt be the problem. -shaeff

    check your gear oil, too. my last w58 (i'm turboswapped, thats why i have a w58/T) decided it wanted to shake alot when it leaked all the gear oil out the rear seal, then exploded. :( -shaeff

    urban legend. the oil squirters DO NOT MAKE OR BREAK THE NA->T's. dont forget that the GE's have a higher compression ratio, too, so you'd have to swap out the pistons if you want the lower C/R. -shaeff

    that's correct on how to set the BASE timing. you need to set the ignition timing after that. (10* BTDC) here's how to do the IGN timing: place a jumper wire in the terminals T1 and TE1 in the diagnostic block, hook up a timing light, one lead to positive battery post, other to negative, and...
