i love the sogi mod. (mine's even shorter than that mod calls for anyway, and re-threaded for the stock knob...) no missed shifts for me. get some good gear oil, the green truck shifter gasket and a new bushing, and you're golden.

and we're racing in the rain because? dont wreck your car to prove to ANYONE that it's faster than theirs... honestly, RWD + rain + racing = dumb in my book, whether you won or not. :(

i still say just pull it out and mess around with it. get a small flatblade screwdriver and pry around in there, making sure not to damage anything.
and the stock driver's seat isnt that difficult to move in and out of the car! ya gotsta get some muscles man! ;)

i'm glad to see that this thread has turned into one filled with productive criticism. let's keep it that way. ;) noxide, i admire your craftsmanship. it's going to be badass when it's done.
(and just for the record, we're not all ricers;))

seriously. why dont we all just step aside, and look at the craftsmanship, even if you DONT like what he's done to the car, look at HOW WELL he's done it...
92turbo4life, you need to calm down a bit. you're putting yourself on a pedistal, simply because YOU believe that your stickers are...
almost, but in reality, the wastegate starts opening when you hit positive pressure. it's FULLY open at 6.8psi. if you want EVEN BETTER spool up time, get an electronic boost controller, as it will keep the wastegate COMPLETELY closed until your desired boost setting. by far, the best way to go...
i'd check again for vacuum leaks, as that's the most common problem for high idle. then i'd check all your intercooler pipes, just to be sure.
then, i'd place my money on the TPS. (throttle position sensor) that is commonly a problem for badly idling supras. chances are it's not bad enough to...
you'll be fine. just dont hack apart the harness behind the dash. even so, if you did/do, i still dont think it would throw a code... just be careful, that's all.

as kwnate also stated, that's WAY too tight, AND it'd be dumb not to use the moly lube that comes with the ARP's. dont go above 90ft lbs with the moly lube. some go to 100ft lbs, but that's a bit tight, in my opinion.

did you check the fuse as i stated earlier?
and Ian means that only one cam has the drive gear for the CPS/distributor, which i also stated already. ;)
