I have broken 2 snap on sockets and one craftsman. Difference is, good luck finding a snap on truck when you need one. I'm happy with craftsman because they are inexpensive, good quality, and easy to replace. Also remember that when setting up a tool set for yourself, having only a few expensive...
His are -7mm in the front, yours are probably +50mm, meaning his wheels are 57mm (2.25") outwards from where yours are. For yours you could run a wheel spacer and longer wheel studs.
That turbo housing is probably not going to rotate unless you heat the exhaust side with a torch first. You have to heat the exhaust side quickly without heating up the intake side. Then it will come apart easily.
The vvti 1jz has a ct15b turbo, the head is different then the twin turbo 1jz head, and the turbo is a totally different design on the exhaust side. It only looks similar in size to the ct26 so people assume it's a ct26. The cool thing is that the ct15b already makes more power then the ct12...
I agree, that would not be too difficult. Only make sure to put the sensor in the lower hose, not the upper. Or, just put it where the drain cock was :icon_wink
The hydrofan shroud is easy to adapt to the 7m radiator you already have.

You're stranded on an island, you would just drive in circles anyways. :icon_razz
I finally stayed away from SM for a night after work and made what I was talking about doing for a while. This is the "beta version 1.0" done with only $20 in materials (and almost a full 2 lb roll of mig wire! :biglaugh:)
I know the flow will obviously be better with mandrel bends but this...
There is also a sensor bung in the 1jz radiator for the hydrofan temp sensor.
Hydrofan seriously kicks ass! Best option of all fo sho.
Don't put flex-a-lite fans on any supra reguardless of the engine. FAL fans cause overheating problems on 7m, 1jz, and 2jz mk3's. I have 2 FAL fans sitting...
What's so great about being a moderator anyways? If she has time to read through every post and settle petty arguements and listen to whining and complaining every day then I say "thank you".
Yeah, I was wrong, they actually have one for $48.39!

So you guys have no problem paying an extra $92 for two $10 flanges welded on? Any good exhaust shop can handle that job in about 10 minutes...
