Dude, it's not the ignitor if you tried 3. Jagged graphs would more likely be compressor surge or a boost leak or possibly loose wiring or poor connections somewhere in your engine harness. Have you gone to another dyno?
Can I ask why even bother with the test at all? Just try another ignitor and if there is a change the ignitor is probably bad and if no change the ignitor is probably good. I have yet to see an ignitor fail in service on a 7m-gte, and I have worked on a whole lot. Not that it is impossible, but...
Take the autometer sender and use a 1/8" pipe die and thread it on as far as possible to make the threaded part as small as possible. It will then go right in the block and seal purfect.
I think the reason they are getting bothered is more from posts like this one here. Remember, you are still basically a noob, and you are now a moderator, and you have lots of attitude. Chillax playa!
It's not a good idea to drive it like that, and it will probably get worse. :(
You can see exhaust gas coming out of the pipe in the video, and the compression test shows something is wrong also.
The oil will be filthy within hundreds of miles. The pressure will try to push oil out of the...
The problen is not the seal at all, because the oil level is well below that height. The problem is the obvious exhaust pressure in the crank case pushing the oil out. Your machine shop sold you the wrong size rings, but you knew the ring gap was too big before you assembled the engine so you...
.025? That is too much, even for forged pistons. I think you got the wrong size rings  You are not burning a lot of oil because the compression in the crank case is blowing it right out of the motor! And you were just at idle, imagine how much pressure there is at 12psi!!!
You can get a set of 6 for less then 1 snap-on! Same with sockets, I refuse to pay $180 for a set of metric sockets when I can get a set for $15 that is just as strong. I have never had a problem with craftsman sockets being loose or stripping bolts. That usually happens when 12pt are used when...
Snap-on is great, but I think a big complete set of Craftsman tools is not such a bad place to start. Then for the items you find you use the most, you can suppliment the set with the good snap-on stuff. If I was rich I would use more snap-on tools LOL
Snap-on can afford to do that because of their rediculously high prices.
I was looking at buying some snap-on head tools because I know someone who can get me 50% off, and even at 50% off they are still 10-20% more then everything else!
That is some serious blow by! Rings are probably shot or not sealing for some reason. That is why it is burning oil on acceleration also. If compression is getting in the crankcase, then oil can get into the cylinders.
Did you do a compression test on all cylinders?
:withstupi
Another great tool is 3/8" socket extensions with wobble ends!
