are you saying that the cometic dosnt require the block to be prepped? (aside from normal old gasket material removal.)

at high way speeds you can turn the fans off. electric fans will be a problem only if: they are not rated at a high enough flow rate or, your cooling system has problems to begin with. and in that case, the electric fans have nothing to do with your problem. so whoever told you that...

(wanting to contribute:) in my opinion photos of the stock turbo installed on the motor aint gonna help you none. it would be a real PITA to show where the oil lines hook up, the coolent lines sure, but a picture isnt gonna be able to show you everything that the information in the TSRM...
