the 3000 pipe is two clamps and two bolts. again, changing the spark plugs on the mkiii is trivial. its actually harder on the 7mge cause you have the y pipe to remove AND replace that gasket there. I T I S E A S Y the throttle bracket thingy on top of the head there is also easy...

the coil pack will have to be removed. changing the plugs on this motor is NOT difficult at all. when in doubt, check the tsrm: www.supratsrm.com

i am not so sure i agree with you on that. if a new, OEM head gasket is installed with ARP studs and torqued to ARPs reccomended value of 72 foot pounds of torque i would think that if you keep detonation under control that you could safely run at least 15 pounds of boost on the stock turbo...
