yeah water will leak, the only way to make it clean is to get an 89+ replacement cylinder. as for me, i just shoved my old one in there. water leaks in there im sure and eventually itll all fall apart and ill have to take it out and do it again the right way. oh yeah, lesson here? do it...

did it ever run before? probably have a problem with the starter if the electronics worked before you tried cranking it over. make sure the battery terminals are tight. that clicking probably wasnt from the turbo timer, your battery could also be dead.

not quite, you shouldnt ever run oil or fuel into the cabin for any permanent applications.

.....or sending the oil out to a lab. i dont know why more people dont do this. you can figure out if the bearings are gonna fail before you can even hear a knock if you send the oil out to get tested.

even though i had it rebuilt i used a stock HG, i dont know why. stock HG with ARP bolts torqued down to 72ftlbs. i also checked the bolts again after about 700 miles. none of them loosend up at all. im gonna take an oil sample and send it out today or tomorrow. qwik.
