have a friend ready to immediately tighten down the top two bellhousing bolts, then install the tranny cross member. after youve done that the strenuous part is over.
using the GEs oil filter set up can do no harm to a GTE block which, if you didnt alreay know, are both the same.
there is no danger in running without the GTE oil filter bracket and using an oil filter relocation kit to plumb in a T-stat controlled oil cooler.

timing should be set to 10 degrees, with t1 and e1 jumpered.
reset the ECU and drive the car. boost on it do whatever. see if it keeps doing it. then check the codes.
id say boost leak however, since you say no codes were thrown. DOUBLE check your IC pipes.
your OP and water temp gauges arent working cause you dont have them hooked up the right way, or the connections are loose, or there is a break in those wires some where.
