    i had my exhaust custom made from the DP back, full three inches, all mandrel bends and an N1 muffler at the back. sounds great. you are looking to replace your setup? everything is for sale, make me an offer. the muffler is poslished SS and the piping is painted black with high heat paint.

    the point is this, obviously no, the machine work ALONE is not worth 4 grand, however you are buying a complete head with headwork and hardware all in one package. 4000 is reasonable. IMO!

    for any benefit other than easy to reach oil filters, you should remove the bracket that the GTE has for the oil filter/oil cooler lines.
