DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR. DO NOT RUN THE ENGINE.
if there is coolant in the oil and you run the motor you WILL destroy the bearings, leading to a required rebuild!
if you dont want to cause more problems for your self, leave the car parked and you better be pushing it to whereever it has to be.
toyota will rebuild the entire motor for 2000, and you will pay almost half that to just have the HG done.
if you are dedicated you can do the head gasket in 2 days without straining your self.
the rule is one horsepower per one CC. so technically they should be able to do 440 horsepower, as our stock injectors are 440cc's.
however, you also dont want to run the injectors at full duty cycle.. so maybe a safer bet on the stock injectors is 380 horsepower.
HOWEVER! you must...
ooo damn that sucks.
if i were you i would cut the muffler off and have a shop weld one on for you. shouldnt cost more than 45 bucks for them to do it, plus the cost of whatever muffler you pick up.
EDIT: OR sell it to me ! i love what i have but i would like the angled N1 look on my...
right under the oil filter i believe is under pressure, so that is not a good place for the return.
IMO your best bet is to use an oil filter relocation kit, and T off of those lines for your turbos oil feed and return.
anyone disagree?
cant. the motor was never sold here in america.
however, as long as you pass the sniffer you should be fine. the tech doing the inspection probably wont have a clue as to what he is looking at under the hood and you should find a shop that you will pass at.
after all the legal stuff is done with and the car is repaired, go burn their houses down.

doing something like that to me would be like starting a war. they dont call me captain psycho at work for nothin.
PP is cheap enough to replace, and you should always resurface the flywheel. if you are that tight on cash you can get the PP resurfaced as well instead of replacing it.
