I only tightened them by hand to get rid of any slack. 275/35 rear. Only rub on hard bumps or with people in the back. Also on the lowest setting for the rear.
I'd get rid of the preload.
Is your preload how it came out of the box with the spring kinda loose?
I'm a tad lower with 18x10 +25 265/35 with zp coils 16/12 and I don't rub up that high unless going over big bumps.

Yes. You should have the head machined everytime you take it off.
Your better off getting a new hg instead if trying to reuse the old one.
In order to reuse you need to take the hg layers apart clean all the viton off so there silver. Coat each side of all the layers with copper hg spray...
Only 91-92 came with factory sunroofs. All other were aftermarket dealer installed sunroofs.
So you need to find out who actually made your sunroof and see if there even in business anymore and if they still have parts.
Supradupra did it. It's not easy unless you just want to add a push button which IMO is useless and stupid dice you have to turn the key to on the push a button.
If there is no key at all then it's cool but...

That may help to verify the wires are in the right order.
Me thinks it would warp. Stress on the block especially extended high heat like racing from bad mounting would most likely distort it.
I'm no engineer tho.
