I have alot of oil all over the spark plug..

It's the 4 14mm Allen bolts inbetween the spark plugs. The ones on top. You can try either a bunch of fipg or what worked better for me was using big oil drain plug gaskets from napa and remove the black piece for the spark plug wires.

    How common is this issue??

To change that you either have to pull the head to get the rear timing cover out. Or pull the motor to get the hard pipe out. I'd still start with the 90* hose.

    How common is this issue??

I'd start by changing the 90* hose. That hose likes to get pin holes and spray all over making it look like its something else. Plus it's cheap and easier to replace.

Current best option for fuel cut?

18psi is about all they can handle. But the life of them goes Down drastically at that psi. Better off running them to fc and save for a single.

NAPA sent me the WRONG engine!!!

Usually when starting an engine fist thing you do is check for leaks. Also priming the oil system is done before starting which would have shown the said leak and prevented the rk. No one to blame except your self.

Current best option for fuel cut?

Last I checked dm sells the bcc. Still on the greddy website as well. You just use the one for the 3sgte. Also if going that route best to have a wideband and walbro at bare min.

Cylinder wall pitting, is it bad enough?

What's up with the cross hatch right there? Who and when did you get the pistons ? Maybe possible to return them for 1mm oversize and just bore the pits out. That's what I would do.

    Difference in knock sensors

As far as I know yes. They all have the same plug. Never seen any problems using different ones. It's just 2 different manufacturers making the same part.

Current best option for fuel cut?

Ya other than ems the bcc is the better option. Also better to make sure the twins are even good on the motor your getting as 17-18 psi could kill them quick and making for a nice headache to replace them.

    Vaccum Leak Help

There is a idle contact for the tps. Tells the Ecu that the throttle plate is closed. There is also 2 codes for the tps. One for idl which idle and for for off idle. When the idle contact goes bad it can cause the engine to idle really high. When I did the last hg on my 7m my tps decided to...

    Difference in knock sensors

People have said that mixing the different sensors i.e. pre with late and vise versa they have had problems. So my suggestion would be to use the same plug style associated with the Ecu. Either 89+ sensor with 89+ Ecu. And pre with pre.
