CPS (internal or external), cams, front main seal, PCV vent tube on side of block, oil pump drive seal, valve covers.
Those could all create what you're describing. For me it was the CPS internally.
When they did tha Racing Per Matchett thing on Speed about the fuel cells, I was pretty impressed that they run 1450 PSI of fuel pressure. (Just, on the topic of the fuel...)
Just as long as you aren't impressed with braking and cornering speeds. ;)
I do agree it would be incredible if they were as unrestricted as they were in the turbo era. Even with all the FIA's meddling, technology has kept the cars sort of a step ahead of the rules all the time... for example...
Huh, no one mentioned basilar skull fractures. A harness will only kill you faster unless you are wearing a HANS device in the event of an impact.

Sounds like its leaking... not really sucking it down.
At this point I would make sure that your radiator is still full, not just monitoring the overflow bottle.
If you can't see any obvious leaks, its probably something on the exhaust side thats immediately burning off as it leaks. Leaving...
