255 is significantly wider then stock, I don't really care what you run as its irrelevant. Unless you're indirectly trying to show off, then I still don't care. ;)
I did call him an idiot quite intentionally, I doubt this is his 1st mistake.
You're on cams... I would expect you were done with the aftermarket curve.
Also, 272s required replacement of the springs and their directly related parts... different shims could be necessary for swapping in ANY cam.
I would get the car in the air, go one by one on the wheels (ideally normal ride height) and feel for ANY play ANYWHERE in the suspension. Even .010in needs to be investigated.
We all know shops are just a bunch of half retarded jerk offs who sucker people that don't care into letting them...
Okay, so he's an idiot, was going too fast, fucked up and crashed his car. I have no problem agreeing with that.
Wider tires will hydroplane more readily then thinner ones of the same condition and model. Him saying he hydroplaned and your response is to put some really wide tires on it...
Nothing, he just read they were bad and now wants to get rid of them.
Really, anything over stock size injectors IMO is "over" compensation on an SAFC.
