Viton and copper spray together is not the best combination.
If your going to reuse the gasket supposed to take the layers apart and clean all the Viton off and then spray copper spray on all layers and reassemble.
Personally if rather just buy a new gasket as the Viton will work better.
Holes lined up? The holes in the banjo bolt don't need to be lined up with anything.
Double check your cam and crank timing and verify that the cps is installed correctly.
Also check for stored codes.
No I only drive manual trans cars.
But the newer Vvti engine uses a drive by wire throttle body thus it would not have a kick down cable. That one might not be totally compatable.
If it has the same speedo might be able to switch some sensor but you won't be able to down shift.
After 3-5 pumps with the engine off the brake booster reserve will be gone and the pedal will get hard that is normal.
You say the pedal is soft but how soft is it? Like half a inch and then it is hard? Or soft the whole time? Have you tried rolling and stopping?
Ya thats a pps rack. Should have a plug around the c1 connecter Its comes out of the engine harness.
It could be leaking from the high pressure hose and spraying towards the rack. High pressure hoses areusually more common than that top seal on teh rack
Those are fiberglass front and rear fenders. Shine auto sells them except the ones in the pic are even wider. All the moldings and aero have been adjusted to fit properly as well. His car is very well done.
They stay in the open position all the time until abs is activated. Meaning it's not in use.
When they fail your abs does not work. Your brakes still work just not abs.
If your drop the subframe no it's not nesseccary.
If you lift the engine up a little and lower the subframe a little it will slide out. Can put a jack and some wood on the crank just don't jack the shit out of it.
Steering rack is not really in the way for the oil pan but it will be more room. You will have to lift the engine up a little and lower the subframe some and then it will squeeze out. Use toyota fipg or 3m 3bond. Do not use a cork gasket.
You can replace the rack or try and find somewhere to...
Or blow it out. IF the system was open things could have crawled in there.
Like i said earlier the abs unit is desinged to stay in the open position. this incase it fails that you will still have breaks. There all designed this way.
So it sounds more like foriegn objects than a failed...
I brought that up already. from what isaw they were about 2600-3k. He didnt seem interested.
usually you match the wheels to fit the brakes not the brakes to fit the wheels. Cant go fast without some way of stopping.
