If there pouring out then the seal is toast.
Clutch and fan use a 2jzge from a sc300. You have to trim the blade a bit but it's fine.
And actually there not noises at all. The 7m and uz series clutch fans are loud. Sc300 and mk4 supra ones are not.
Can also use a 2jzgte clutch and fan blade.
You don't get it. The seal seals from the timing housing to the crank gear. But there is nothing but metal seal the crank to the crank gear. They do slide off but it is supposed to be a tight fit for a reason.
If your buying used coil packs pull the blue boots off and check for cracks. Usually there will be. Epoxy and heat shrink will fix that. Also gap your plugs to .028. Break up is common on 1/2jz from coil packs and plug gap.
For stock turbos you generally will always see some oil if you pull...
If you just used the cooler part and cut and welded different angles for the coolant lines it might just bolt up. But if you use the adapter part it will need a bolt.
Ya its atleast half an inch to a inch deeper than the 7m. If you could cut the bolt and get a 3/4-16 tap you could prolly thread it and make it work no problem. Would then just have to do something about the coolant ports.
The issue i see is that the distance from the o ring sealing part in the block to the start of the treads is much deaper on the jz engines than the 7m's.
You really want to change all of the caps.
Considering the cam and crank sensors are what tells the Ecu the engine position them and there circuits are vital.
Could have a bad sensor. Or could have bad caps or wiring.
If you have access to a scope you could check the signals of the sensors...
That puller will not take it off.
You need the one with the 4 slots.
Those come off from time to time from old age. Bet to get a new one or a used one and permentally weld it better. Like with a tig.
