    Shifting to reverse problematic

Ok, ok. No need to get mad, just yankin' your chain a bit. Not sure about the vibration and grind. Could be a worn shift fork and a bad mount, or a bearing issue inside the case. You should probably stop at a trans. shop, and let them take a look at it.

    rear camber

Smartest thing you've said in this thread yet... No, you can't remove the strut rods, and still drive the car. :3d_frown:

    Shifting to reverse problematic

Push in the clutch, put it in reverse, hold the clutch while you start the car. :) Reverse can be a pain, but I don't recall feeling a vibration in mine. For the intake, you can get a new boot at the dealer. They can print you a pic. with part numbers, and you tell them which one you want.

A couple quick questions regarding HG process...

Pull the head, take it and get it checked. I'd be seriously concerned about it having issues between 4, 5, and 6. I think I read somewhere that you should go through the torque process three times with studs(torque them, loosen one turn, torque again, etc.), to ensure preload, but that could...

Q & A: MAFT Pro + 7M-GE - POST ALL QUESTIONS, COMMENTS AND PROBLEMS HERE!

Which would be easier to tune, for the beginner? MAF, or SD? This would be WITH a wideband, but setting the tune myself. Also, can you set more than one tune? Say, one for fuel economy, and one for power?

    no thermostat?

Turbo or n/a has no bearing on the temp. the coolant needs to be. The fact that this a fuel injected, computer controlled motor, that looks for a specific "operating temperature," does. You have some serious cooling system issues, and need to address them before you do even more damage to the...

Alright, so it's not rod knock, but get this!

lol, tell the redneck you have to get that pulley off to get to the crank, and he'll be all over it. Course, he's gonna be pissed off when he tries to snort it...

    Acis promblem from hell

In order for the ACIS to cause the symptoms you're describing, the valve would have to be locked closed. There is a spring inside the intake that physically locks it open if the ACIS system malfunctions. I think you need to check the timing, but I'd also look into plugs and wires.

Fuel question.. did I do something BAD??

You jumpered Fp and B+ with the key on, and could hear fuel flowing in the rail? Any idea what fuel pressure is?

Alright, so it's not rod knock, but get this!

Alpha: Use some locktite on the bolt, as it might help it stay tight a bit longer. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, but if you get creative with a large pipe wrench, there is a way to hold the front pulley while you torque the bolt. Beware: It is quite possible to break the pulley if not...

Alright, so it's not rod knock, but get this!

I just googled it(Devcon epoxy). They have a 2 ton adhesive epoxy that can be used structurally, and will work on anything. Cool, as I was looking for something like this to do some thin sheet metal work. Thanks :)

    homemade fpd kit

Fail. So instead of paying someone for their time and effort, you would rather one of us help you rip off their design, so that you can fix something you fucked up? I'd really hate to see anyone help you with this. Just my $.02

    New Exhaust Idea

In effect, wouldn't that restrict your exhaust to 2.5"? It does give me an idea for my n/a's exhaust, though... Going from smaller to bigger(2" header tubes to 3" exhaust to 3" muffler) would be okay, but going from larger to smaller would put a restriction on the exhaust. Not bad...

LED JDM tail lights are finished! Lots of photos

I have yet to see an LED layout I actually liked, so yours is the first :) Nice, straight design, all the lights line up, and it all fits together well. I bet they'll look great on the car. Great Job! :)

there is no mark on my cps help

Dude: Your off by a little bit, still, I think. You need to clean up the "rotor" in the center, and find the little groove in it. Read the caption, as well, as it has a helpful hint in it.

    Auxillary electric fan

How's your radiator, water pump, t.stat? Coolant nice and green, or brown and nasty? I'd advise checking your cooling system first, could be your radiator is partially plugged, causing you to run hotter than normal. Although I'm not turbo, my fans really only come on at prolonged stops, or...
