the less the bends the better, shorter lengths help but not as much as bends.
IMO. would it be hotter up there though?? cutting the compressor up, are you gonna disassemble it first??
I've got a 7m-Ge turboed with a walboro+550's without the 12v mod. it goes rich in the high rpms when boosting somtimes, i got a few things done to it, but in the back of my head i keep thinking this 12mod.

my friends back home said I 'was running blades', of course cause you can see the compressor blades. have anyone here heard that before?? just curious. not to thread jack.

a 'wet' compression can be done after the regular one, it involves putting a little bit of oil in the cylinder and doing the compression check again, if the PSI was low on the first one then higher on the second, its your rings. Fuel pumps dont...
bypass your intercooler and you intake temps are gonna be a lot higher, more likely to detonate if running her hard. but if you need this thing for daily driving, i would bypass it in a second while waiting for the new, just stay outta the boost, air hets up 3F every psi.
