    Ross pistons problem (big one)

    I use Ross pistons and they did slap a little when cold. Check your piston to bore numbers. I personally wouldn't go over 4.5 thou. Ensure your bores are round and not oversize. A couple thou makes a huge difference on these numbers, especially when the pistons are cold. Once my engine was warm...

    Looks nice and clean, I'm not sure of the market there, but you could always offer $2k less and start the "haggle"...blue book is about $3600, so thats what insurance payout would be in the ballpark for (if it was a total loss).

    Post engine, body and interior pics. $6k is on the high end, but if it's truly mint, then at least you won't be dumping money into all the usual stuff that needs replacing...a lot less headache to start with one thats good to begin with as well.

    Poor gas mileage

    You should get min. 17 mpg city. Sounds like its time for a major tuneup. No codes? Compression good? Ever clean the injectors? You always do routine maintenance? Maybe check your timing, and try to get a 3" exhaust on it (after you fix your turbo). Could be skewed air/fuel and a bad tune.

    Auto harness/manual ecu

    Do a search for this and you'll find some info on it. There are wiring mods to be done with the cruise control, neutral bypass and back-up lights. Possibly others, (I'm still in the process myself).
