Take them to heart. Halogen lights don't output much blue light, so putting a blue coating on the bulbs cuts output, period. Plus, blue is one of the harder colors for our eyes to see, and we lose definition looking at it. In fact, the "yellow" look of most bulbs is better, just like yellow...
