They literally connect the front and rear subframes together. We have two very large boxed pieces under the car that already do that, unlike other cars that only have the pinch rails on the sides.
F-body doesn't have two heavily boxed frame pieces as part of it's unibody construction. The subframes are supposed to be retorqued at regulare maintenance intervals (and are never done), also, the doors are stress members in a targa car, so if the hinges are shot they're not doing their job...
Unless you're a masochist, you're not getting 300HP from a 7M-GE without some form of forced induction (keep in mind nitrous is a form of forced induction).
The reason the F20C makes the power it does is:
- Piston speeds higher than any production car.
- VTEC (yes people laugh, but it's...
First year of the MKIII is the highest. Also, as time goes on, less and less of the cars are on the road, they rust away, get in wrecks, or are just scrapped when they stop running. Makes them much more rare in relation to MKIII's and even MKIV's at this point.
Keep in mind if you go to the 89+ wing with the LED third brake light, you'll need a different tail light failure box. If you use a pre-89 wing with the normal brake light in it, then you don't.
Hint: it has a normal bulb in it that would need replacing.
Hint: there is no difference between the N/A and Turbo back glass
EDIT: modmonster, you made it too easy!!
It's intentional. It's to shine light on roadside signs.
Also, you're not supposed to seal the housings, the boots on the back are dust boots, they're supposed to let air circulate. Sorry to say it, but I'd want to slap someone that did that to a car I bought
