Yup stock bolts are NOT TTY or I would never recommend re-using them. Of course they should be checked for damage, but in most cases can be re used without issue. For a stock NA, I really see no need for ARP hardware especially if you are on a budget. Not sure which gasket set you bought but...
Ive seen people out here with tint over their entire windshield haha. And it isn't rare to see interior temps of 160f after the car has been parked outside for a brief time. The case of my maft pro basically melted one day because I accidentally left it out on the floor and the sun hit it..
The ports in the block are 1/8bspt and your sender is likely 1/8npt. Autometer makes an adapter, and so does DriftMotion. You can tap into any of the ports along the main oil galley (runs along the right side of the block).
ID is about 85mm

screw diam is 5.85mm

Damn that motor is messy. You can re-use the stock headbolts without a problem, but at a minimum if you pull the head you should have it resurfaced and check the block deck for flatness.

Not sure if they come in a gasket set but it's so cheap from Toyota it doesn't really matter.
Pull the panel and make sure all the bolts holding the motor and the glass are tight. Could be that they worked loose and are allowing the motor or glass to move around independent of the door frame.
I didn't see it mentioned here but from what I have seen I am fairly certain that the light blocks have two large allen plugs at the left rear of the block whereas the heavy blocks have two small core plugs in their place. I've never seen a heavy block with those allen plugs nor have I ever seen...
