This outta be good... WHAT DEFINES A RICER?!?!?!?!?!

Correction, a ricer would put a tip or muffler on, a non-ricer would put an actual exhaust on.

Did Toyota ever change headgasket torque?

Turbo back exhaust causes higher boost pressures, which means higher cylinder pressures, which means more power, which means more heat... You get the picture. Also of note is a 20 year old car that's well over 100K miles with an original cooling system that wasn't maintained (clogged...

A big decision... to sale, or not to sale

Nothing on that list of things it needs will leave you stranded. You already know what's been replaced on the car and if you trust the workmanship, it's going to be reliable. So your mom wants you to sell it and get another car that's used and of questionable reliability...

    Are coilovers really worth it?

Threaded body is a gimmick as you're still limiting travel. Adjustability =/= good.

A buddy of mine is looking for a turbo for his drag beetle... suggestions?

For a drag car I can see it happening as it doesn't have much time to really heatsoak. It's still an odd sounding setup and hell, and intercooler is easy to install, air to water works good for drag cars since you can throw icewater in there.

Things like this help: http://www.not2fast.com/turbo/glossary/turbo_calc.shtml Methanol fuel is a bit weird though, so I have no idea to be honest.

    The (old) Official Gun Thread.

Smartparts, AWESOME collection, that starlight scope is cool as hell. Also, on the fluting issue, it's the same arguement as aluminum vs steel. Aluminum is twice as strong as steel for the same weight. It's less dense, so the item has to be made BIGGER as aluminum, but it still weighs less...

    Usage-based billing for Canadian internet

It's not as easy to track your internet usage as it is cell phone minutes. Web pages can vary widely on how much they have to download. Overall, it's acrappy setup and sounds like it's the phone companies trying to crack down on VoIP.
