Air locker doesn't lock if you lose pressure, IIRC the e-locker doesn't. Also, the e-locker is much cheaper as you get the entire third member. Most of the guys I knew that used the ARB only did it becuase they wanted on board air anyway so they could air back up after rock crawling.

Why go air locker when the TRD electric locker is a drop in? If I had the mechanical skills I have now back when I owned my truck, don't think I woulda sold it. Main reason I sold mine is the A/C system was destroyed and it rode like crap. That and I wanted a Supra

Headlight mod... do these fit the bill??

I think most of their modules are fairly well sealed. I know the 90mm halogen modules have vents on them, but unless you submerge them they should stay fine. You guys are really tempting me to start making these things lol

bad u-joint (non-replaceable type), what now?

Yep, they're staked in, but yes, they're replaceable. You just have to fight with them worse.

Dome Light Only Works When Doors Are Open

You don't remove the rivets, you just tighten them. Though loose rivets usually causes the opposite problem.

    The (old) Official Gun Thread.

Yep, most complaints I've seen about AK's are their long range accuracy, but they weren't designed for it. That's what the Dragunov was for.

    Starter Brand?

Repairing as starter is very easy, but if you want to buy one, pick up a Denso. They supply them for Toyota. The rest are IMHO like taking a Toyota to a Ford dealership for a rebuild ;) Rebuild directions are in the TSRM IIRC, and yes, it's usually an easy (and cheap) fix.

    Safe without power steering?

Compare it to a car with a real manual rack or the lines looped and the difference is very apparant. Also keep in mind the gear ratio and steering wheel size isn't really suited for manual steering, not to mention weight and tire size...
