    Adjusting Q45 TPS

well, if you are using it with the stock computer/standalone setup, you need to adjust it to the Toyota specs, not the Nissan ones.

MKIV are cheaper to maintain then MKIII?

Werd. The sponsors on SF are where its at. I've probably saved 3-4k in buying parts from them versus my local toyota dealer. And as most have said, unfortunately, we drive a vehicle with many vehicle-specific parts, hence, a higher price. We should be thankful for how many parts are actually...

My restoration project - Rusty 89

update: the car is sitting in my garage right now, and after some pressure washing, on go the brake and fuel lines, as well as a crap-load of wiring. Hopefully i took enough pictures when disassembling the car to know where everything goes...you forget a lot in one year.

Probe Forged Pistons: You want 'em? GB!

i could get some....but it would require destroying a block to get a sample for rockwell testing. The microhardness instruments I have at my disposal don't tend to get along with a cast microstructure.

    Tien RA spec coilovers appraisal

chalk it up to ebay inexperience plus, there is no "dibbs" on ebay items if you post a link on a forum - if somebody else wants it, they are going to bid on it...thats why I would never post a link....or bid at anytime other than in the last minute of the auction.

SOGI mod, cut and weld thread or tap new shift stick?

uh...i don't know if whats left over after the sogi mod is of large enough diameter to thread to the appropriate size. I welded old threads onto mine - and the threads were a good 3-5mm larger in diameter than the piece it was welded to.
