This is for guys with front facing intake manifolds on either engine who have not re-located their batteries and have the large, ebay-style (24x12x3ish) intercoolers. I would like to see some pictures of your intercooler pipe routing as it exits the intercooler. Shots from above would be cool...
agreed. I found that in addition to the grinding wheels, get a high quality de-burring bit and use it after you have cut off as much of the cam bolt as possible. It cuts through the metal ridiculously fast.
Is everybody that is doing the large side to side intercoolers removing the battery and running the piping through there? If anybody is running the piping the 1jz route to a FFIM (between the rad and motor, not through the battery location)could I get some pics of the arrangement of the...
well, the first thing to do would be get a new block...and start from there. Surely there are a few kickin' around in junkyards. If not, give me a month to get back to canada and you can come pick up the extra NA block I've got laying around...for a nominal fee of course.
