why anyone would do a 3UZ over a 1UZ I'll never know.. hell you can do a google search and figure out that the 1UZ is far superior in stock form. whether it be the larger ISS, better rods and theres more.
yeah I realize the disparity between the two displacement wise, but honestly I dont see...
ppl swap JZ's into nissans because 99% of the time parts are easier to source and or cheaper, let alone component quality itself.. generally the motors are in higher abundance as well (26 vs. others [the 25 i wont touch in this case])
I absolutely love the RB and will defend it, but to swap...
Actually the swap was less involved as far as I can tell than my 1J swap, seriously.. now the components are probably a little harder to come by, but a guy at the shop had one and he did it himself and it didnt seem to trouble him much.
If I were to do a supra over it would be an F/I 1UZ.
since a few ppl have posted others cars, I guess theres no harm in posting a few of my friends' cars (JP).. dunno the owner of the one with tail covers though.
have a lot more, but thats all I feel like showing.
well we don't have snow or salt here, but it does frequently rain obviously.. perhaps I can just spray it with exhaust paint in the future, or if worst comes to worst buy another. Theres just something badass about having a trust product, probably because nothing has really been stamped with...
it is like the most simple thing to do, my friend had never done one and he had it done when I came back to the shop like 20 mins later.. FIPG FTW.
then again I have a 92 motor with 30k lol. It really didnt need to be done anyways..
