yeah for all intents and purposes those may be the only differences and perhaps its code remains R154 even though I think the tailshaft should negate that. then again we already had a few variations of the R154 through supras, soarers and the like.

I thought the solstice was a 6spd? yes you can buy them new from toyota for like 1800 without bell housing and the shifter linkages IIRC.
