Did your 7m have square motor mounts or round?

I just dropped mine in last weekend, and yes its a tight fit. I also have the DM motor mounts, being dropped into a square mount 89'.
The only way i could get it in was to get the motor mounts as close as possible, then jack the rear of the transmission up, until its lightly touching the tunnel...
The second video is a MAP sensor. The plug should be at the firewall, on the intake side. The vacuum line goes to the vacuum filter, near the intake air temp sensor.
You can use the TEMS shocks. Just set the adjuster, on the top, the same on all four (hard or soft) to your taste, and your good to go.
You just wont have the electronic adjustment, on the go, it was designed for. More of a "set it and forget it" deal.

The reason i said its a bad idea is because once you turn that screw, now the factory settings are tweaked in a way that can be nearly impossible to get back to stock settings. Now the next time something small changes about the motor, and you do a "jimmy hack" to solve that issue. And on and...
On the back of the head there is a pipe that flows idle air. Take it off and see if there is air flowing through it.
