try locking and unlockin the car... b\c if the factory alarm goes off it will kill the ignition... and if it doesn't work on the dirvers' side door try it on the pass and the hatch... either one of those should disarm the factory alarm... I've had this problem many times with my car...
I think I might be able to get you a block that was rodknocked... but it was the rod bearings... so just hone the block and you should be good to go...
are your terminals new... make sure all your cables are connected and secured even a lose cable won't allow you to start... also check your cables on your starter... has it ever had problems like slow start or somethin like you had to crank it over a few times?
check your battery cables... I've had something like this happen and it turned out my terminals were too gunked up to carry a charge even when I was trying to jump it...
I'd watch out for some of those eclipse's... there are about a half dozen that cruise around here in KC that are easily in the 12's when street driving... and then some of them when the go to the track they run mid 11's... of course they are all 3g gsx's...

sorry it's not going to cost that much for a mhg... I did mine while I was swapping out a head... I'm not sure on the machining but my 1.2mm hks mhg was only like 125... and then the arp's were only 90... and since I did the work myself that's all it costed... the head I bought was already...

ok so I've recently noticed that when I start my car and let it warm up a little and then go drive it starts to smoke when I come to a stop at idle... but it's only every once in a while... so I checked my IC for oil and sure enough there was enough oil down in the lower ic pipe to let it get...
