For the little bit of cooling that was sacrificed when I went to the 2JZ pump setup was well worth not having to think about my pump failing or the numerous other things that can go wrong with something of that sort after what 15-16 some odd years.
But it's up to you man, theres people on both...
I just could never find one that wasn't beat to hell for a decent price and I've never had a problem paying top dollar if its something I've wanted.
That thing is really going to move.. hell it would have been fast with the twins IMO haha.
the only bars worth taking a look at are the side reinforcement bars.. the rest of them can be out remedied by custom fabbing around the rear strut towers. the rear hatch brace is nonsense IMO.
well most V8 FD's aren't exactly stock and the people in the driver seat are particularly light with the pedal haha.. but I imagine its around the same if not a few mpg's less than what you get if theyre just driving normally.
IJ is right.. btw 1JZ gas mileage for me is about 18 around town and in the mid 20's on the highway, but there are people who get better mileage out of them.
every single thing you've ever recommended me has not only avoided a blown my motor (always a plus right?) but has pretty much protected it and allowed it to run better for longer periods of time. so if you are also against, as well as many of my other buddies on here then I'll stay the hell...
those are regular S13 seats, not 180sx.. and honestly that SC beats the daylights out that thing. and gas mileage? you say the SC gets terrible gas mileage, what do you think happens when you hit boost in the turbo car? The win/win is the SC with a swap, but you don't have the money.
I'd say...
I'd love for you to enjoy the JZ community.. (well 1J at least :biglaugh:) but dude without all those accessories depending on where you live that sounds pretty uncomfortable. Hitting boost is definitely something, but its not always gonna solve all that, if at all.
