My god there are some cheap sob's here. Believe it or not, work done by hand, and NOT IN CHINA is going to cost you some coin. $190 for an essentially new wheel is absolutely nothing! I paid over $100 to have mine simply refinished - if I would have known that i could have my wheel re-wrapped...
The angle method of torquing doesn't only apply to head bolts - many industrial engines use this method on various bolts from rod bolts to main bearing bolts. This method is much better at providing a consistent bolt preload than a torque wrench. The use of a bolt stretch gauge would be ideal...
If I'm in the fast lane passing people (over the limit of course - if I'm near the limit, I'm never in the fast lane) and somebody decides to get their bumper up my ass, I will slow to the speed of the car beside me. Tailgate me all you want, it doesn't mean that you will get anywhere any faster.
from my (limited) experience, bosch and japanese engines do not get along. I installed them by mistake in my maxima and they caused horrible stuttering problems during acceleration.
very nice! I found that it works the best if you apply it first with a buffing wheel and then go at it by hand for final polishing. For the black trim, just apply by hand.
I love the people that have their car decked out with gauges, a fuel system, and a built motor and claim that the engine has never seen more than 7psi. Maybe he will claim that he's never taken the motor over 3000 RPM as well.
