    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

did you have to modify or buy a set of rear lower control arms to get your camber in check in the rear? maybe my tabs are screwed up on mine, but I'm having trouble getting anything less than -1.7 or so, and my car is an inch higher than yours in the rear.

I've actually seen your car before on either this forum or another, it looks good but could use some coilover, haha.

    Gauges, What's Your Opinion?

Every manual boost gauge I've seen or used has been off calibration by at least 1 psi.. Knowing that, I still went with a manual STRI gauge and regret not going with the electric one. Plus, the lack of peak/hold function isn't ideal.

    cooling..

Well, it can all depend.. in hotter climates, one can get away with a little more water in the mix, as where in colder climates, one should probably stick to the prescribed 50/50.

    cooling..

why not just use Toyota Red? I understand that a lot of folks want some enhanced cooling capabilities and such, but I really haven't seen much compelling me to spend a fortune on coolant.

    Painting Side Molding

little to no prep, then I took them to a paint place and they shot them with single stage for like $40.. not too bad, but there are some minor imperfections (to be expected for that price IMO).

that's definitely within the realm of possibility.

well, there are already cars with "X" chassis codes.. so saying anything X70 is more like referring to an older Chaser, Mark II, or Cresta.

    Holy mother of all turbos!

I <3 the Landcruiser motor.. some local guy use to have a 600hp one, and I think that was my favorite motor and definitely SUV at the time.

    Retro-spec

I had the Hiro tail-light covers from them, and the fitment and quality was great.. on the other hand, I had a little bit of an issue with the CF radiator cooling panel, but they took care of that/me rather quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them, and like you said, the parts are very...

in that case, wouldn't it have been more appropriate to write xA70? they both have an "A" that precedes the 70 after all.. cars look super clean, especially the one with the CR-Kais.. I remember seeing that car a while back and I wasn't too keen on the rear fitment for some reason (maybe a...

    engine under-cover needed?

I wouldn't keep it on my car unless I simplified the way of removing it.. unless I'm just remembering it being more of a pain in the ass than it actually was (mine was on there for 20 some odd years after all). It's understandable that one wouldn't be taking it off all the time, but I like...

Am I the only one who thinks that electric fans are a downgrade?

I will always have some sort of clutch fan in the cars I own, unless they come with something different from the factory.. In the Supra, it's been great.
