Stock fuel pump ok for stock 2JZ-GTE?

the chances of it being a JDM 2J are high, especially with only 330hp.. and yes, they have low impedance 440's in stock form. anyhow, the point is that he should change the pump to a Walbro or Denso mkiv unit.. reliability and performance can be considered the same, and as others have stated...

YOUR Supra... Is it FUN to DRIVE?

day by day, month by month, and year by year, the supra seems to just get better and better with age. there are things that annoy me about my car, but I tend to fix them slowly but surely.. and with each thing I fix, the drive becomes more and more satisfying. at the same time, I learned a long...

    Window trim refurbishing

IIRC, one can still get them from Toyota.. the issue is that they are rather expensive (especially considering everything else one could be doing to the car with that money). personally, I think I'm gonna follow RazoE's advice and try "plasti-dip" in an attempt to make them at least appear...

    E fan benefits

the stock clutch fan would still be best IMO.. plus, the parasitic loss from a properly functioning clutch fan is pretty trivial.

People with aftermarket alarms, tell us what you're using!

RazoE, you probably have the 350HV like me.. I'm thinking of going to a higher model though just for the remote start, turbo timer, and range. otherwise, it's a pretty good unit IMO..

    1JZ-GTE Clutch Fan Setups

with a stock radiator (87-92), one can use the 2JZ water pump, the 2JZGTE fan blade, and 7M fan shroud.. or you can use the GE blade with some spacing (mentioned above) for the possibility of having an upgraded radiator in the future.

    1JZ-GTE Clutch Fan Setups

same here.. two washers where the fan mounts to the clutch.. Ben, I assume spacing of the clutch and the trimming of the blade were for insurance, right? (then again I used some lock washers I found, and they are likely thicker than the ones used on your setup)

    1JZ-GTE Clutch Fan Setups

2JZ fan clutch 2JZGE fan blade (spaced out slightly) same as Bigzavs, but I have a stock rad.. if I wanted to upgrade to a Koyo (or something else), I doubt I'd have to worry at all.
