Nashman: show your ideas on how your new ones will be?
I will also do my own later.
So far I have started cutting the gussets, pics in my project thread later.
Flateric: Thats another know thing. Your arms are the trailing arms which are known to be bent which causes wheel hop. This problem have been addressed by LIPP for example who made an cast version. But it's still nice to see what you have done. I will do something similar when I have a new...
NashMan: According to IJ whos car died due to this it has happened to some. If I can avoid that kind of accident by doing this then it's worth it to me.

Final idea:
I thought about placing the gussets to the sides of the pipe, but I think this will be stronger.
The space between them is 10 mm and its 16 mm larger in diameter around the bushing housing.
It reaches 150 mm from the center of the bushing housing.
The lowest height is 2...
the so called solid alu bushings which are referred to are only replacing the disc between the subframe and body.
You are still using stock rubber bushings or something else.
Just wanted to point this out so that there are no misunderstandings.
For complete alu solid bushing replacements...

Today I wasn't in my garage to work on my supra.
I have lost my spot in the garage due to the person on the contract is about
to start a business and needs the whole garage for himself.
The idea was to place the Porsche on the supras spot when I could drive the...

my supra in the evening.
The goal for the day in the garage was to clean the sway bars and primer those plus

When the swaybars were...

Today I continued with the hard lines under the car.
The idea was to wait with the return pipe since that don't really need to be in stainless
steel, but I had managed to put a kink in it so I had to replace it.
The return pipe turned out to be better than the...
Sounds like a good project.
For someone who doesn't know, what is 24h Lemons? Just a 24h race or is it a series?
If you haven't read about it yet, it's a good idea to convert the oil system to a full flow t-stat controlled system.

With new pipe couplers I could install the fuel feed line and filter.
Since the line is stainless steel it takes some time to get it in place.
I also started to remove the parts that I will reuse from the old fuel tank and I was
amazed about how easy the screws...

School day today, but first I needed to pick up some stuff for my fuel setup.
I got new pipe couplers for the stainless steel fuel lines and the guy pressed on
a new banjo body on a hose that I will use between the fuel tank and filter.
When I got to school I...
