    eraezer - Supra MK3 -89 -Swedish Build

-:|Update - 2010-08-12|:- Today I did some finishing touches to the arms. I installed bushings in the FLCA's, took out the two remaining stock bushing shells and re-greased two balljoints. Let me just say that the part that took the longest time was installing the locking clip for the...

    Oil cooler placement with AC?

I did some simple measuring yesterday and it looks like my oil cooler will fit between the rad and ac condenser and I can route the AN-10 lines under the condenser :) I will need to remove my rad to confirm this. Does anyone have the measurements of the area between the rad and condenser?

    Reinforcing the rear toe arm...thoughts?

Well what do you know, it was 2 mm plate that I had a lot of :) I must have blanked when I wrote 1 mm before. We'll see which design I go for, but it won't be just a gusset on each side since I don't think that will be enough if something goes wrong, have the age in mind when re-reading this line.

-:|Update - 2010-08-07|:- I wanted to paint the top coat on the arms today but I had a problem, it was raining eventhough "all" of the weather sites said that there should not rain during the day. So I got a bit inventive and built a paint both of a half party tent which proved to be...

    eraezer - Supra MK3 -89 -Swedish Build

-:|Update - 2010-08-06|:- Since the arches don't have a good place on my priority list I switched my focus to the arms instead. Today I wiped of all the temporary primer and painted all of the steel arms with a proper primer. This time with a paint gun. Even the ones that were already...

    Oil cooler placement with AC?

I'm guessing that you don't have the AC still in the car? and is that the spearco replica IC? Another question: Is it possible to get more room between the condenser and IC if the stock IC is changed to the spearco replica?

    Reinforcing the rear toe arm...thoughts?

custom arms will come later when I have had time to do some calculations of proper lengths. This is a thing to make the car safer. Today I got a call and the person in the other end told me that my garage lease is up in three months. I need to have the car rolling then so I can move it if I...

    Reinforcing the rear toe arm...thoughts?

Hello, due to our cars age and IJ accident I have decided to reinforce my toe arms. The idea is to wrap it in 1mm steel according to the pictures. It will reach about 10cm from the bushing housing. It will look like this, but on both sides: (dimensions are not correct this is just to get...

    Oil cooler placement with AC?

thanks guys I'll have a look between the rad and cond. and see if I can do something otherwise I'll hold on the cooler and just use the stock one with a full flow system. My cooler is thicker and longer than stock plus I'll be using An-10 all the way.

    Oil cooler placement with AC?

Hello, yesterday I looked where I could place my cooler... Hopefully my supra will be out soon, but with some shortcuts, for example I won't build a new exhaust now, no replacing of IC pipes or IC. The new oil system is already started and I won't put back anything of the stock system...

-:|Update - 2010-08-05|:- After some time away from my cars (spent a week in Norway, Skånevik) it was time to do a little more on the rear arches. They are starting to look good but I think I will redo them later. The final decision will be made when I can look at it easier, like when it's...
