To fix the broken pin I unsoldered it and soldered a piece of wire
directly to the board. Using regular one pin plugs I can connect it
to the correct wire on the outside.
I couldn't indicate turning right so I had to take apart the combination
switch and clean...

I'm currently installing my new 2-way alarm which forced me to check why the
central locking didn't lock both doors, only the driver door.
In the pics you can see what I found, one of the pins was corroded off.
Bypasing the plug confirmed this.

My goal for today was to get it of the jackstands.
So I had to check everything, so that I haven't forgotten anything.
I did a final test run of the motor as well.
Since my bimetallic vacuum valve is broken and nothing is connecting
the charcoal canister with...
-:|Update - 2010-11-05|:-
Today I started with changing the spark plugs, the old ones did not look good
at all. They had been in the car for at least 2 years.
Then I got a nice phone call :) It was a person I have been trying to reach for a while
because he had a rear harness that he...

Today I wanted to torque the drive axles, but to be able to do that I needed to bleed
the brakes.
This was all done thanks to my girlfriend who steped on the brake pedal.
To torque the drive axles I first torqued it all the torque wrench could do
and after that...
-:|Update - 2010-11-01|:-
The exhaust is now ready to be installed. I had to cut off two studs when I removed it.
The studs hold an exhaust hanger to the exhaust so I installed it with the welder.
A weld for one of the heat shields was broken so I re-welded that.
I also installed some...

Now it was time for the fuel tank.
I didnt want to install the tank until I got the harness, but the tank stops
me from getting the car down on the floor.
Since the part of my burnt harness that goes under the floor to the tank is
ok I just re-loomed it so that...

Today I installed the rear suspension arms and drive shafts.
I still need to torque the nuts and bolts.
Yesterday I picked up a set of stock rims with winter tires(studs) from a member on
a swedish supra forum. These will come in handy right away since one of...
-:|Update - 2010-10-24|:-
Time to do something about the rear, so I rolled it with the same paint I
used inside the car and on all the other red parts that I have painted.
The roller was supposed to work with all kinds of paint but after a coat or two
it started sticking a bit to the...

Today I installed the final piece in the brake system, a new pipe from the ABS unit
to the front right wheel house and from that a new brake hose.

hvyman, I guess you were right about the boost gauge. Another supra guy confirmed what you said. I did the test where you disconnect the connector from the pressure sensor = the gauge shows maximum reading, ground terminal 2 and the needle should go to minimum reading. My gauge behaved like it...
Where under the glow box are they?
Well I would see vacuum during idle and around 0 while revving the engine.
Where are the vac line and sensor located?
