just thought I'd throw this in here for reference... I have an 87 that is getting 1JZ swapped... I used the JDM RHD engine crossmember to get the round engine mount points and OEM mounts, HOWEVER; on RHD vs LHD the steering rack brackets are mirror opposite and off-centre 1/2" or so...

really interesting build... but... given the oppertunity, I would have built a 850(csi?) given the choice, since the motor seems like a definate... I mean the 850 still looks sexy as hell, and given the low production #'s will always look timeless... to each his own, much props...

Also the red 92 caliper - had the outer pad area machined vs. the other was just cast... also the horseshoe shaped window was machined (photo 1) vs cast...

So yesterday I tore down my rear calipers to sandblast and recoat in a satin black, and I happened to notice that the left and right have different sized pistons (and rubber) but the castings look to be the same size.. 1/2 of the casting #'s match each other.... and one has 3 dimple marks...

what is the diameter of the rear sleeve? option to have a shop press out the old sleeves and re-use them? in place of the HSD sleeve? these photo's make the issue much clearer... than the previous thead

what sleeve/bushing did you remove? in that pic you posted it looked as though the sleeve in the lower strut bushing needed to be pressed flush, back into place...
