    what I did was drill out the spot welds that are left around those under the rear rocker garnish.. then cut them out, fortunately for me my rust in the wheel lip stopped before the trim so I cut to there then sand blast and prime form new panels where necessary prime, weld, grind, prime, seal...

    me too... OEM Chevy van (91?) was an aluminum wrapped in CF... the CF allowed water and dust to become trapped between the layers and rub until corrosion wore it too weak and it tore, but the CF wrap kept it rather tidy with little to no extra chassis damage... oh GM.... wonders never fail...

    refurb/renew body mouldings

    so for my 1987 we have decided to to go with a set of 91 JDM body mouldings... black/grey (not doing the super white package BS) the black is too stark a contrast so we have chosen a nice dark grey metallic... with add plastic primer +flex agent to paint.. but for the "jelly" pinstripe...

    build thread to come soon.... once the chassis is done being prep'd... I didn't want a 100+page thread of "this is the 6 hours of this week...." otherwise; more seam sealing today; and test fitting/drilling body holes for 89+ spoiler/trim...

    I've had people place small welds on turbo piping for me to act as the bead for the clamp to grab.... may be an easier proposition,.

    seam sealer... rocker guard underside of floor.... ^PPG Epoxy base white.... needs second coat after rocker guard (as seen in spare tire well)

    I have thought about this before, but a 240sx and considered routering out a channel in the trailing edge of the spoiler.. tuck the antenna into the resulting space tucking the wires into the stock 3rd brake light grommet..
